About Blah blah blah, another lightning shot from me. But I find them not only beautiful but challenging... so bear with me, please.

Straight from the source.... another excellent lightning shot! I like how it shows the clouds from which the lightning is coming. Superb capture, Dave!
Regards, Ahmed

Fantástica!

Alicia Popp   {K:83500} 8/14/2007
Wowwwwwwwwwww... viene iluminando desde atrás de las nubes... y les da un color rojizo, hasta que se abre paso como un río de luz!
Me encanta ver este espectáculo en fotos!!!
Felicitaciones, Dave!!!

Blah, nothing, keep 'em coming. I've yet to capture my first lightning shot, of course we haven't had many storms either. Great shot, loved the color. I for one never get bored of these kind of captures. All the best, Dave :)

Beautiful capture Dave in stunning colors. I would perhaps crop a little bit more the upper part, up to the first clouds.
A really beautiful work.
Congrats

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 8/15/2007
John, thank you so much. That was probably 5 to 10 miles away from me when I took the shot, believe it or not. I am glad, too, since it was a very active storm and it is very frightening when it is right on top of you.

Dave

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 8/15/2007
Thank you, Brigitte... for now, the daily storms have stopped... :(

"And always look on the BRIGHT side of life.. dedum... dedum dedum dedum'.." etc...." (or something like that from Monty Python's "Life of Brian".... lol!)
Seriously, though Dave... ye be Captain of Midnight to be sure, to be sre, to be sure... (must say three times ... it is a "spell"... Irish one actually!)
And baby... You got me under your spell...
Mwah!

mahassa bahri   {K:10958} 8/17/2007
fantastic shape of clouds, color of the sky and lighting,
excellent and powerful job,
and...looks like some giant is looking down from above,
best to you, mahassa

Bernardo González   {K:4133} 8/19/2007
Great capture, is a pity, a little "noisy". The same without noise:

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 8/19/2007
Thanks, Bernardo. What program did you use to reduce the noise? I have only Neat Image but not very adept at using it.

Dave

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 8/19/2007
Thank you kindly, dear Mahassa!

Best wishes,
Dave

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 8/19/2007
Thank you, my dear Ani. May have you under a spell but when are you coming out of your shell? :)

Bernardo González   {K:4133} 8/19/2007
I use Noiseware professional, I think is the best.
