WOWWWW!!! BRAVO! One of your best from you, yes!!! I love ropes, it's a great subject always but here you use nice red and amazing darkness and soft lighting to makes a very special job dear Mahassa, complements for that beautiful abstracted subject.

This is a great abstract but also i thought it could be in the 'Hot, Hot ,Hot' catagory dear Mahassa-

A bit more focus and details on the rope would have make it better, I think, though the rope now does have some elements of a sculpture through its softer appearance.
Was that a redish light source, or rather underexposure?

When shooting in b&w, using a single color filter (I use red, but others are used) creates very high contrast shots. Here is a Cokin page with their filters:

Mahassa, the presence of the ropes is fine but what makes this is the imagination having to deal with the objects that are blurred by depth of field... makes you want to study this to figure out what the ropes are binding.
