Simple color palette, great contours in all their very sculpture-like look, and excellent details of that glass under those hard conditions! Most of the time I am inclined to prefer the ansolutely black silhouette in front of such a color of the background, but here I see that allowing some of the "plasticity" of the silhouette at its boundaries to the background to be seen, can also be very inviting for a look, as this really forms the silhouette in the 3rd dimension -the depth.
Excellent work except for some minor unfinished feel in composition. And BTW, could you perhaps continue the series with some more of the silhouette in front of the window (or whatever it is)?

Dear Nick,
Thanks for such a delightful analysis and critic on this work. Actually, I felt the second one of the series, (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1347227) was perhaps the best of the lot, because in it, I went closest to what I tried. The window of course is not geometrically perfect, and there were distractions here and there (like a dangling rope etc), which I tried to remove by a crop. That, in turn, affected the composition.
But the best part is the 'NOT absolute black silhouette' part, which you caught very well.

It's also very symbolic...reflecting the fact that many of nowadays people are captured in a closed and hopeless times...
