About from an email to some grandparents.
I just love the spilling light, something grand about it. :)
I think people should think to do montage more often

You are right of course..the montage thing is excellent...the story plays out so well..the light, yes, that is just the best

Nice one Ian.It reminds me of that scene in Close Encounters when all the toys start moving around and the lights appear at the windows and doors just before the kid is abducted by Aliens!!
Take care, Tony

I will, and reshoot for posting in a couple of months. It is hard to think of anything else but France at the moment.

Oh-oh!!!!! Are you going to France???? If you make Paris, you MUST do three things: 1. Eiffel Tower at night. 2. Watch the sunset over Paris from Sacre Couer church steps. 3. Get off the subway at the Rome station and look a block down the street. You are looking for a small store called "Hong Yen's." GREAT sandwiches and get a can of Liptonic (Lemon tea with sugar... carbonated.) There are more I could suggest... but these three will not disappoint. (Do Versailles if you have the chance)

if you donīt know what to do in Paris you can ask an american :-).
No offence, Jim, just joking :-).

Ian McIntosh   {K:38813} 9/4/2007
I do have unfinished business in Paris but this must wait till the boys are of a certain age my heart is there waiting for the allblacks to make the final of the Rugby World Cup.
Versailles was drizzly but inspiring I cannot get enough of that Sun King mythos.

So true. Will never forget all the americans I saw there. Ireland would have been taking very conservative steps against the foot and mouth at the time but they were cavorting about Paris for St Patricks day.
