About I love to sail be it small canoes or big ferries. Still the big ferries always reminds me of "Estonia", "Titanic", "Scandinavian Star", "Hans Hedvig" etc. I was sailing to Greenland once, and the ocean was so cold and remote. One day everybody onboard got seasick due to the huge waves. Everything flew around and we´re approaching the southern region of Greenland. I remember getting just slightly anxious;-)Modern equipment yes but nonetheless we had to pick up a captain on Iceland to guide the ship through the icy waters in Greenland. We couldn´t sail at night due to the icebergs and we had to change course again and again. Good to have lifeboats!

Who needs lifeboats when you have killersnails?! Good abstract, my snail- training friend.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 9/6/2007
Well I haven´t been whitewaterrafting with them lately, nor have I thrown them off helicopters down to the sea for some time, so they´re not fit for this job yet. No worries though! I´ll prepare them for this job, so they can sssssoon make many epissssodes of Sssssnailwatch in great style. Only thing is that they look too real - I must provide them with some plastic snailsurgey first.

LOL! I am playing my Italian word game... more later.

Bl**dy computer... it always cheats. Well, Annemette, my photography exile is almost over... two weeks tomorrow I start to shift my bones Italywards. I will be like a starving killersnail chained to a wall suddenly let loose to eat all the pizza it wants. I hope I don't get photo indigestion. My camera has been fixed, the sensor should be as clean as my driving licence (I don't have one, therefore it's spotless) and I'm raring to go. Pity the poor Italians having to listen to me massacring their beautiful language for a whole month. Perhaps I should take a killersnail with me for protection in case the good ladies of Italia can't resist my Italian accent and start steaming up my lens... it could hisssssss at them...... sssssssteady on ladieeeesssss.... artisssssssst at worrrrrrrk.

Yup, you´d better take protection with you - in form of a killersnail that is*LOL* And you got the spots off your sensor, lucky fellow - can´t have any spotty weddingphotos! A big spot on the groom´s behind and another big one on the lovely bride´s nose - it just won´t work:-)
How I´ll miss you when you go away! You´d better not stay away for too long or I might have to send out some trackingkillersnails sniff sniff!
No license? My killersnails have a license to kill and I´ve got a license for car and bus, so I can transport my entire army. I rarely let them march because although I make them sing and run, they just spend hours on getting down to the gate and back.

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 9/7/2007
How do you think I've felt?! You've been away for the best part of the last 6 weeks... or so it seems! You could dress the snails up in centurion costumes and we could make some easy money by letting tourists in Rome pose with them...

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 9/7/2007
I knoooow, I´m sorry:-( Didn´t u get my smokesignals?
Yes, such a fine idea, only the tourists will be covered in slime.
We can also make the tourists dance and sing and learn the killersnails to clap their...their bottoms!
We could also train them to do snailaerobics on rainy days.

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 9/7/2007
Slimy tourists... yes, yes, yes.
