Something haunting about this place drawing me to it, but probably a beautiful farm in sunny weather:-)

Yeeeesssssssss;-) I adore such places making me scared and yet fascinated. If I had Henry and Amon with me I would feel safe though:-)

Alain.

I love the tones and the composition of this image. Sets a great mood.

Do you like this lens? I'm considering buying it soon.

Cheers,
Terry

Alain Mijngheer   {K:14355} 9/12/2007
The answer is ye, yes, yes....:)
If I had to choose a single lens, instead the 18-70mm kit lens, for everyday I'd choose this one definitely. The problem for me is that I don't own one myself, someone borrowed me this one for the duration of my holidays. So perhaps a suggestion for my wife since my birthday is coming up in a few months:)
Oh yes and thanks for the comment Terry.
Grtz,

Alain

Alain,

I found a great lens for shooting portraits and it is affordable. The Nikon 50mm f1.8. I love how sharp it is as well as how it treats the out of focus portions of the image. And with a fast aperture you're able to do more low light shooting.

Cheers,
Terry

Ikumi shot with Nikon 50mm f1.8

Alain Mijngheer   {K:14355} 9/12/2007
Terry,
I know :)
Having that 50mm for a while now, several images in my portfolio ( dogs and their owners) were taken with that lens.
Take care,

Alain
