About A quick post before bed...
Baby Daniel at the family reunion on the weekend, where the new Nikon went for it's first test run.
Don't worry Daniel, I felt the same way, all those relatives can get on your nerves!!! :D

Larry, no babies were harmed in the making of this picture, I swear!!! He was already crying when I stuck my camera in his face and flashed...

The D80 is great, I actually sat down and read the manual the other day, well...bits of it anyway. There are still some things that are a little foreign to me, not having used many SLR's often, my Dad has an old (probably not that old!) Olympus film SLR that I played with years ago when he would let me, so I am sure I will figure out what I need to soon.
If there is anything that stumps me too badly I know where to come for advice kekekekek

Poor Daniel...very cute, Bek.:)

Don't be reading the manual...it messes things up

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 9/12/2007
This child has eyelashes on him that would put most woman to shame Shirley, such a waste on a boy!! He is normally such a sweetie, but as you can imagine, the pass the parcel that goes hand in hand with family reunions and new babies was just a bit too much for him!
cheers....B

Rebcca. I dont blame him for crying. He probably thought you were going to do something weird with his picture lol. Jokes aside. Its a fantastic shot. Congratulations.7++ Cheers Keith

Do something weird to his picture? Keith...wherever would you get that idea?!!!
I did entertain thoughts of turning him into a pirate, or perhaps a gothic vampire (wouldn't work...not enough teeth), but you can't improve of the perfection of a baby, so I didn't bother!

Thanks so much for your great comment, much appreciated....B

Isn't that the way, though? Although, my daughter has those kind of lashes, but guess which of her children inherited them...yep, the boys! Haha!

What did you do? Where you playing to much with the camera in front of him? It seems he had a bad day. ;)

This shot reminds me of the great joy of being a grandparent, "Here's the kid!" as I hand him quickly off to a parent! Well . . . unless it's a simple matter of giving the child something! :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
