Hey there Larry, I know...looks dodgy eh?
I wouldn't try venturing too far into the yards, even though they have just had a re-vamp down there with lots of new lights etc.
The thought of who could be lurking in the abandoned carriages is enough to put a flutter in my chest. That and the fact that I was by myself and it was 11 o'clock at night and no-one knew where I was!! 
I just had to stop on the side of the road and take a couple of frames, couldn't resist.

Funny you should say that actually, when I saw this on the LCD it reminded me of your Route 66 pics.
I love getting out and about at night, but usually no-one wants to come with me and it is starting to get pretty late when inspiration strikes. Seymour is not really a town that one would want to wander around alone at night, so even though my heart was going at a million miles an hour while I set up to take these shots, anticipating that any second would be the one where I would be struck down by foul means.....I put on my Big Girl Panties and got down to business

Its called the 'Train Hospital' if you ask some of the youngsters I know. That puts a nicer spin to it lol. Every time I drive past I want to stop in but havent got around to it yet. Oh and as of mid-October I'll not be getting up so rediculously early so I'll come out wiht you :)
Pls explain the Lomo action, what does that one do?

Oh, you do inspire me so with shots like this Bek...excellent night photography... since my eldest moved to W.A. there is no one who will go out at night with me to play....really really sad, because I love it....wish you were closer to me, then we could go raise hell together!!!!:)

Sounds just like things I do, wandering out late in the wrong parts of town. It seems to be the time of night & place(s) that my mind races the fastest, as if I am gonna miss the perfect picture or as if something is going to happen at any moment. Excellent night capture!
