Félicitations, Fabrice, pour ce si beau biiip !
Une très belle composition pour déservir un théme qui me touche au coeur, l'homme dans la ville.
Ses pieds nus, son visage penché donc anonyme, sa position à l'angle de l'escalier et de l'eau, lui donnent beaucoup d'humanité et de fragilité. Il pourrait être chacun d'entre nous.
MAis comme je suis étonnée par ton titre, et donc par ton interprétation - semble-t-il partagée par d'autres - de l'image !
Je crois voir un homme qui a cherché l'isolement au bord du fleuve, pour se concentrer sur sa musique, oublieux de la ville et des autres, juste conscient de la chaleur de la pierre et du mouvement de l'eau...
Toi, tu y vois tristesse et désespérance ...
Pourquoi donc ?

Merci Aline pour ton analyse et commentaire.. j'ai aussi cette vision de l'homme. Une photo lorsque je la developpe, j'ai besoin d'y mettre un titre, quelquechose qui resonne avec le cadrage, la situation, l'instant de la prise, l'instant présent.. et le fait qu'il ait la tete baissée m'a donné cette impression (sachant qu'il était dans une telle position probablement à cause de la chaleur 36° à l'ombre!!).. mais ton interprétation est tout aussi bonne et le titre en serait alors pour moi différent. Ce que j'aime dans ces photos, et ce qui est très important pour moi, c'est aussi le titre car chacun peut aussi y retrouver ou "contester" quelquechose...
Voila tout simplement..

This is what I'd call a "clean" composition...lines are beautiful and create a sober background, subtly elegant. The human presence can be interpreted in many ways: dejection, despair, just hot, sleepy or simply tired, but which way one chooses to consider the man is the main accent in the composition and without him the composition would stop being.

Your chosen geometry and the exposure are simply perfect here, Fabrice! To keep details on both highlights and shadows is alone for itself much of mastering photography, but to do that also in a good composition *and* on such a special moment, really results in a special image, that deserves to be taken under the BIPs.
