Cheers Cathy. I too was pleased with the very dull and neutral colours that were present in the background of this shot, it really brings out the colours of the macaw. I think the main reason for this was that the background fell in the shade whereas the macaw was not :)

Thank Michael. I think the macaw was actually gliding at this point in time, gliding down close to the ground, so I should be thanking him :P
