Thanks Peta. That's the only way I can afford to buy the 18-200VR which is on my list. It was selling the 10.5 or the 12-24. The 12-24 is more versatile so I am keeping that.

This is an excellent picture....how did u get that light at night with 1/15 shutter speed..please do let me know !!

Dhonnyabad Sarbik. Guessing you are a Bangali like me. In Belgium the sun sets in the mid summer around 11pm! So there still was a fair bit of sunlight left. Also it was a 2.8 lens.

Good place to use a fisheye and get that huge sweep of courtyard. I do recommend correcting the verticals in software and still get a broader view than the 12-24. Nice light!

Thanks Eb. I didn't have a copy of Capture at that time. Now I have it with D300 purchase. Still haven't started shooting with the D300 yet. My D70 is now 4.5 years old and belongs in a museum.

Eb Mueller   {K:22505} 4/18/2008
Raihan, the D300 is a fantastic camera and quite the step up from the D70! I keep my old D70s in the car trunk - not worried about it getting stolen!

Hi Eb ... I managed to correct distortion in NX that came with the D300.

Eb Mueller   {K:22505} 4/20/2008
Raihan, that looks nice an clean with the barrel distortion gone! The next thing that can be done is to correct the verticals in Photoshop. ;)
