About I am completely new to PhotoShop which is why it took forever to put this photo together. I wanted to keep the smoothness of the flowing water resulting from a 30 second exposure but the background came out overexposed all the time. I ended up using 2 pictures – one with a 30 second exposure and one with 1/10 second exposure which came out underexposed. However, the evening sky from the second picture was usable, so I merged the images and you are looking at the result.

Exposure 30’ and 1/10

I think it turned out great. It has a dreamy feel to it. I love the smootheness of the water and the sky has really great colors.

Ahh what a beauty. Very well thought out and the result is a complete success.

A beautiful image and excellent Photoshop work. I might not even have noticed the blending of images if you hadn't mentioned it in your notes.
The only small fault I can see with the blending is on the tree line, it’s just a little blunt and would have benefited from some feathering.
For someone who is a beginner you have done a wonderful job with this...I like it very much. :)

Meg.
