About This is one of my favorite places to shoot. Used a ladder for a little extra height above the foreground....(that brought some interesting comments). Unfortunately this place is not always sunny and many trips are needed. Shot near 4pm. Your opinions are always appreciated.

Ya gotta do, what ya gotta do, to get that shot you want. I would quite literly climb out on a (very dangerous, sry, small) tree branch, to get a shot. Or a swim..which ever came first. beautiful scenery, excellent composition

Thanks for taking the time to say something about this image. This is one that I personally never get tired of looking at, or re-shooting. Draws me ever closer to our amazing creator.

Vince, this has to be one of my favorites of your current "crop" of photos ... the diagonal of the mountain is wonderful, and the relief of the vertical ridges shows up beautifully in the afternoon light. The color is perfect for the scene; I have to believe velvia was made for Hawaii (or Hawaii was made for velvia) - either way, it's a perfect match.
