It's very good for being hand-held (BSS feature? It was great! I miss shooting hand-held at such a slow shutter speed like 1/8 and so, with the S2 you get blurred for sure). Also, a great work of selective desaturation. Very "urban" mood.

Wow - great shot! You actually made a dreary day look cool! I really like the subtle splashes of color throughuot, especially the golden color of the headlights. Excellent.

I try something like this and it looks boring to me. This is great!! These are the kind of days where I enjoy driving because there is such a mood, fog, lights, wet asphalt...
Regarding the daisy that is all fuzzy with nothing to hold onto. Thanks for the comment. I thought that the edge between the flower and center was more or less in focus at the middle of the frame. But -I sometimes wonder because I often feel like I never find in-focus. So it is good to be told when I am not. I need focus in these types of photos to balance out the light and color blur in my abstracts.

Mary, I was a bit lucky with this one - the traffic ended up in just the right spot - not easy with longer exposures! (only shot the one shot for this actually). Also, I started playing around in PS, I wanted to makes the wet light a focal point - did some contrast boosting with curves and desaturated non-yellow/red colors and this came out.
With your daisy shot - I beleive it may have been sharp somewhere inthe middle there - but it wasn't enough to latch your eyes onto.
