About Yesterday upon driving home we ventured past this enchanting pond of which i have no idea if it in fact has a name. I have passed this pond often over the years but this time the light beckoned to be recorded.
This is a stitched panoramic image shot handheld. As you may know i am not a tripod fan may they rust in my trunk....lol

What a beautiful shot - the composition focuses your eyes in to the center and out to the distant snow capped mountains and then you find yourself studying all of the details in the forground - from the branches, rocks and twigs to the partially submurged in the muck log in the water. Outstanding amount of details and color considering the amount of light that was available - and you were blessed with an awesome sky too. Well seen and thanks for sharing this. I, too, put this in to my favs. I would imagine that this would really be fantastic as a pano! Jan

This is on one of the roads i suggested that you take on your drive to Banff.....as well as most of the shots I am posting at the moment......well it is always there for next time. The best time to come up here is around first week in Sept. The colors are stunning and no bugs at all. I am moving here this November so you got a place to hang if you ever want to pop up for a quick one.....always need someone to hike with! Just get in a jet and we will pick you up!
