I never knew there was startrail software. I'll have to look into that. It gives me hope that I may be abe to get a star trails image. It is something I'd love to have. Boy, taking 292 shots and then combining them is a lot of work on your part. It paid off, though. You got great results.

The Canon Digitl Rebel XT is a DSLR, isn't it? Sowhy not just leave the shutter open for an extened time instesa of going to all the work of multiple shots?

the result is not so good with a single shot. you can see my other pictures (cactus like an example) and you'll see the diferent result.
