The effects are nice, but I suspect the image would look just fine as a "straight" shot, with maybe just a little desaturation. Just a personal taste thing I suppose.

Thank you for your comment on the Lennon Wall.You are quite correct. There is no head.He is a friend of mine but has very white thick vibrant hair and I wanted to disguise this fact so asked him to pull his jacket foreward somewhat to disguise this fact.
