ahhh, esplendida!, puro surrealismo aquí, con un toque a Delbaux: onírico, y ese reflejo en el agua que es impecable, y los colores, intensos y muy armonioso. Yo creo que sin dudas vos tenes un estilo, y yo puedo reconocer un Steinberg...con solo ver la imágen, o casi...:-)
Como conseguís esos escenarios?, bueno la respuesta creo que es casi evidente, yendo a buscarlos...ja...ja...voy a salir a buscar escenarios, y personajes también, la verdad eso es nuevo para mí, siempre busco la foto, no elementos para una foto.
Che, perdoname que insista pero el libro de Mellado es muy interesante, plantea la fotografía digital desde la óptica del fotografo clásico que tiene que pasarse a la tecnologia digital y quiere obtener los mismos niveles de calidad...
Está lleno de simples trucos, mucho sobre RAW, ajustes de colores de dispositivos, manejo de archivos que no se degradan con la manipulación...muy, muy interesante!

Paul Delvaux...bueno...es un exceso de afecto...pero acepto...(mi narcisismo puede más que mi racionalidad y la falsa modestia...)
Eso...yo lo aprendí, las fotos las armo en mi cabeza. la idea es armarlas con un criterio fotográfico como si hubiera una cámara...sacando...con sus sombras y luces .- Por eso, cambié mis criterios, hago fotos de lo que me guste una casa vieja, una ruina, un pedazo de papel madera, una estatuilla que, digitalizada en un escenario (un bosque una callejuela, un puerto)...te simula una "foto"...es como el PRESTIDIGITADOR, como el mago...
Viste el mago te habla y te habla..... te lleva y mientras hace su truca, te engaña...ese es el arte cuando se crea una alquimia entre el que "ve" y el que hace la imágen...que te atrapó y te emocionó (te causo alguna sensación, incluso de indiferencia...o de hastío)
Si descubris el truco del mago...se terminó todo...por cierto uno prefiere tener una actitud naif desarmada, lista para ser impresionada...Pero OJO...cuando tenes la foto DALE.- Cuando estoy en una escena testimonial, o de music hall o de ballet o de un retrato en estudio la hago...y allí es donde MELLADO un RECAPO de la fotografía digital, uno de los VINTAGE DEL MUNDO actual, te enseña, sobre el RAW, el sistema zonal en digital, exponer para las sombras y recuperar las luces y tantos otros conceptos...el libro ...LO QUIERO...es más lo necesito...es más lo estuve buscando , asi que vemos por mail como transferirlo en raw vía ftp o algo así...Me alegra que estes leyendo a MELLADO...es una real progreso.- Estamos en tratativas con Mellado (en el FotoClub), para que traiga una muestra a la Argentina...y con ELENA MARTINIUK ( una de las fotografas ucranianas más grandiosas que he visto...)
En suma uno puede hacerse el raro o el dificil y hacer esas fotos despojadas que se llevan un well done o un excellent... pero antes hay que aprender lo elemental
Bueno Gustavo, solo falta el cafe...Podemos seguir horas...Un querido amigo....LUIS

I am Blown Away by your Tango Series. They are AMAZING! The spooky thing is, that I am just about to leave this internet cafe, to go and find out about some Tango Lessons for myself. It's more than tango, Luis! It's a scene of modern theater with some mixtures of abstract and some mixtures of surrealism. I am stunned again about the perfection of your work. You don't simply smudge, no! You *create* scenes! And in order to do that both is needed: Vision and mastery of the used tools. Alone the feet of the dancers that correspond perfectly to the floor show me much more work than any amateuric photoshop-smudger would ever imagine. This is profi work!
I am amazed about the contrast of the rather dirty scene against the glamour of the dancers. They seem to have decided to make the scene glamorous with their own dedication to their dance. And the light on the excellent details of their cloths seems to fall from some invisible spotlight that exists only in their minds!
Perhaps the etherial shapes in the old house are a bit too strong, but they are as wavy in their colorful appearance, as needed in order to suggest motion - the moves of the dancers - and to match their glamour.
All that put into the right perspective, creating the impression of depth, that is very important as the space where the dancers can move.
I can only be glad that this was the staff's choise! It more than deserves it.
