About Two pelicans decided to see if the fish were as tasty by the seal site (they were) and hung out. Beautiful creatures . . . and not pigs, just grabbing the ocassional Scoop full of fish! Quite tacit . . .

Thanks Liz! I suspect the Pelicans down there don't resemble ours . . . judging from Phillip Minnis' Pelican shots! :)

No they don't...the colouring is different.

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 10/17/2007
Hmmmm . . . they look real clean-ish down there. That's 'cause we have REAL pelicans . . . they don't 'honk' with a British accent! LoL! :P

wonderful pelican portrait, very nice exposure and detail, the BG works well...
NOT pigs? you were not there when one of these guys snuck over to my lunch cooler and started poking around LOL.
when at the marina at half moon bay, I throw them anchovies, its amazing how well they pose after you feed them...

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 10/18/2007
Thanks Robbie! I would have preferred more of an angle but the pose is all natural. Appreciate the comment!

High praise from you Marcus! These guys were likely there because the food was there and not so much because they were hungry since they ignored it for the most part. Only saw a couple of scoops downed! Tried using cheetohs as bait once at the beach and was swamped by seagulls! SO not funny! Great to hear from you buddy! :P
