I like the severe presentation of the severe solution to the apparent security concern. The centered composition leaves nothing to ponder but the subject itself. Is the solution worse than the problem.

With regards Bob's comment, I couldn't agree more. A perfect example being the guard dogs that protect the houses of Sabaudia and scared me half to death as I was walking home at night. Picture the scene... silence, interupted by the occasional chirping of crickets. I saunter along, enjoying the balmy evening air, when suddenly... GGRRRRR... RRRAAAARRRGGGHHH.... RWWWRRRAAARRRGGGGHHHH.... RRRAAARRRRRR.... thirty hounds from hell, all baying for my blood. I shall never forget their ferocity. My one Italian swear word ('Go forth and multiply') was used with monotonous regularity towards those feral foes...
