Nice one, Dave! Perfect exposure on the sky and the foreground so as to not over expose one or under expose the other. All around great shot. Cheers, Gary

Excellent shot Dave...even without lot of light here... it might be higher ISO or longer exposure) you get a beautiful image, with perfect quality...and now I must see the positive thing here...darker shot gives better mood! And here of course it is that! Plus you get beautiful lighting scales from the darker ground to the top of the rocks! AND ...it's more... about the details...I could not even dream so nice details with so less lighting...absolutely great shot!

What a peculiar looking place... looks like a great location for a space movie. Or maybe there's already been movies filmed there?? Anyways, great shots, Dave... thanks for sharing. I really like the "unusual"!

Thanks, SQ! But my land is red. Not green.

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 10/28/2007
Thanks, Ronen. You are right, especially spending the night in this peaceful place. Not a soul around.

Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks, John. I try to shoot at 100 ISO so as to keep the noise down.

Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks, Brigitte... I don't know about a movie... it is a Federal Wilderness, I don't know if they allow that kind of thing... but then there are similar types of geography on private property all over the four corners region.
