It was popular some years ago,but we didn't have such shops here..smaller ones with no luminous advertising.A lot of younger people were going to Germany or Holland to let do it!!I like the reflection in your shot with many details as well!
Do you have a tattoo or a piercing Michele??

Hey My dear Nicki,
I do thank You for your kind comment my dear and also for the information ....I do NOT have a tattoo and only my ears are pierced ...It is not for me- but I don't mind if others do unless you have trouble to see their skin...I do not like percing's in the nose , etc. but also to each his own--- I Like your country that does not have these shops to encourage this either they look pretty scary to me :))

No my dear I don't have tattoo's or piercing's.First it doesn't make sense to me and second in our medical office I see therefore very often bad inflammations!!!A lot of kids don't want to hear this...!!!You do have pain when you get an tatoo or a piercing...and why???

I tried soooooo hard not to have my own reflection in this image but sometimes it is just not possible for one reason or another -ha!! I Thank You again for your opinion of not liking tattoo's Or piercings & good You told your boys they don't like them either -haha!!!

Hi Paul,
I had back-up with me to get so close to the 'sleainess' of this tattoo place -lol but I did :))
I don't have a large lens - just the one that came with my Nikon..
It's great but I am anxious to get one I can zoom in from far away ..can't wait for that day to come ...

Well, my hat is off to you, Michele. Nicely done, great exposure and great clarity for hand held with the neon lights. Not only that but you did very well in hiding yourself in the reflection.
Do me a favor, next time you are by there/ Ask them if they'll pierce both my nips for $25 or is that just one?
