Anna, said to me there is Gene all alone, I said I think you should stay home, she said well Shirley will be there to
keep a eye on us, you do trust Shirley don't you, I had to say yes. 7=====================

Obviously, I haven't done a very good job of keeping Gene out of trouble so far, so I hope you haven't deceived your poor Anna Bear...hahaha.:)))

Thank you so very much, dear Michele! Deepwood Estate is on the corner of Mission and 12th Streets. The Deepwood Estate and Bush Estate all kind of run together.:)

Wow! A picture perfect like Thomas Kincaid's work! Play of light is amazing indeed! great job!! I would try another one, without the plush toy though!

Shirley D. Cross   {K:143396} 11/23/2007
Thank you so very much, Sudhir, I have many photos of this place without the bear, but you obviously haven't been following Gene bear's adventures. Check out this link and look in the 'about' for links to where Gene has already traveled.

A shot oozing romantic feelings!!!I like it that you chose to include the balustrade of the porch, it gives a completely different air to the shot! And also makes the contrast with the garden have more impact! It IS beautiful!!!

Thank you so very much, dear Gabriela!:)

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 12/3/2007
Great shot, I love the composition. That wee bear is very busy, as he is in a lot of your shots

Shirley D. Cross   {K:143396} 12/3/2007
Thank you, Daniel! The reason Gene Bear was in a lot of my shots recently is that he is a world traveler, started on his journeys by his sponsor, Doyle Chastain, another photographer on UF. Here is the link which will tell you where Gene has already been: http://www.usefilm.com/image/1369027.HTML
He has now been sent home and will soon be going to visit Robin Wickencamp in Illinois.:)

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 12/3/2007
Thank you for the reply and information, very lovely. My parents had a travelling companion similar called Yammas

Shirley D. Cross   {K:143396} 12/3/2007
How very interesting about your parents' Yammas.:)

Lynn De Serres   {K:1226} 2/2/2008
