Does your Fuji have a custome white balance? If so, set it to overcast setting and you'll get a better exposure. If not, you could try doing a curves adjustment in PS and that usually helps.
You do have a different shot of a grand lady, I like it.

Jim - Fuji Reala is film. There is nothing to adjust here. I suppose I could have bracketed my exposures here, but things were happening fast and this was the best I got. Many times I will gladly settle for just getting the photo, even if it isn't perfect rather than coming up empty handed. In my shooting style, there usually isn't much, if any time to set up, so I keep a hand held meter ready and always start at f/8.

@George, I think it was a Jim's joke :-) Skim his PF: he is not only digital photographer, he has been using the F100 from Nikon.
The photo gives knowledge how huge the carrier is: white sailing boat is so small in contrary to the big carrier silhouette. I thing the picture needs some light sharpening?

Sorry George, sense I've been shooting digital thats the way my thinking has been. I do remember that Fuji Reala is film. I should have looked closer at the tech details that you put down.

This picture is full of posative things: 1st and formost, you TOOK the picture. Having taken the picture from astern is also good, allowing us to see the more human side of a machine made for war. The inclusion of the small sailing boat allows scale to be understood. As far as the sky, you did take it in November and the weather is like that in the fall. Personally I hardly ever use photoshop. Thank You for posting.
