About This is my Aunt Carol.
She is the twin of my mom.
The family held a birthday party for her 50th birthday when it is only her 49th as a joke!

This is one of the gag gifts she got...
Reading glasses..
I thought this was a great expression and capture all around!

Nice candid Mike, the tones and composition are all spot on, Carol doesn't look 49

Thanks Paul.
I try to use family events and as times to practice candid portraits.
I am slowly getting better IMO.
She has aged very gracefully!

I ind the image is rather dark and the skin tones are too grey. I took the liberty of making some adjustment to the exposure and here is the result.

Adjusted exposure

Thanks for the reply Clive.
I do like the skin tones better on yours but other areas then blow out.
Great idea and i will see what i can get out of it!
