Hi Dave - at a magnification ratio of 3:1 the DoF here is about 2mm and the background is totally blurred - no PS processing in this regard. Thhanks for your valuable comments!

Glad to see that you registered at UF, although no site is perfect there are some really great image posted here while certain authors really take time to give honest and thorough comments.
