in Corel Photo Paint 12, I desaturate the background and the cage metalic net...

You must have done the desaturation well because... I didn't even notice at first! Now looking more closely, I imagine the original colour background might have been a little busy. But with your processing the birds stand out beautifully.

As for the desaturation, seems like a huge amount of work. You did it perfectly well, dear John.

Excellent focus and image John --why are these birds in cages? did you set them 'free' ? Naah You would be worried they wuld bite you -ha!! Just teasing --really this is a very excellent shot !!!

thanks Michele...hahaha...well I bet if I try to do that, the owner will put a knife...or even a gun, on my head...ok... I also had with me my Sigma 50-500 that I could hit him on the head (lol...)
but anfortunaly I could not... except of that, the first bird watching me like a ...dud watch us with...half eye (greek excpression, don't know if 'works in US too...meanning that somebody don't watching you as a friend ...mostly like an enemy...)
