This is gorgeous. I love how the white in the plants in the foreground reflect the colour of the Moon which somehow draws the image together. In between the whites are glorioius colours to enjoy. The dark radded rocks make a great backdrop for those wonderful twightlight colours. The pink 'Belt of Venice" is quite evident. I love this. I suspect that you adjusted the sky colours as they appear a bit deeper than usually seen. This, for me, makes vit look a little unnatural. Howver, it is a lovely image.

Hi Mary, first of all thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. now about the image, I didn't selectively adjusted the sky but kept it intentionally darker with grad filters to pull out the foreground and contrast of the overall image.

Ah, I forgot about filters. I have some now but have not had a chance to really try them out to see what effects will be achieved. I do see what you were going for here and your grad filter did do it for you. The contrasts are great and are actually probably what drew me to your image in the thumbnail. So, I have learned something new today about filters as your image demonstrates how they can definately pull out the foreground and pump up the contrast. Thanks for the explanation.
