This is a really powerful shot. My first thought was how did you light that? Then I wondered if you used photo shop to merge images. Either way, I really like the result.

You asked if I used filters for my shot of the Boston Skyline. Not for this shot. I did have a split neutral density filter handy, but the sky was not a problem here.
