With these pupils I do see,
A world of things that seem to be,
Some are happy some are sad,
But significant are these things to me.
I've seen my love's expression,
When she looked into my eyes,
I viewed my sisters face,
When our father died.
I've seen some people living,
Enjoying all their time,
And witnessed people dying,
While they're still alive.
What will come tomorrow,
Will we see another,
Have we done much lately,
To be good to one another?

Beautiful poem, dear Wayne, that fits a beautiful man with a serious thoughtful expression. I suppose you´ve now reached an age where the reality of life comes knocking on the door in a more strong way having lost your father. That puts everything in perspective.
