فضای سیاه درون و روشنایی بیرون در تضاد و تقابل با یکدیگر هستند. دو صندلی خالی و زن تنها کویای انتظار می باشند. در بیرون زندگی در جریان است اما در این چهار دیواری تاریک اینگونه به نظر نمیرسد. چیدمان صندلی ها گویای این مطلب میتواند باشد که ملاقات هایی مکرر و دایم به وقوع می پیوندد. نگرانی در چهره زن ما را به این اندیشه میگذارد که فرد ثانی لحظاتی چند تاخیر دارد و این تاخیر شاید برای اولین بار در این مکررات باشد.
