About Dedicated to my friend Nochipa, this flowers with an outstretched carpet of many tiny lavender blooms, the back of which is lush with soft aloe colored tendrils. In fall it draws up from this Victorian feel into a rich brown basket, giving it an almost Sleepy Hollow decorative appearance. For winter this color bleaches but the basket remains. The ice storm coated the rib cage before enveloping the skeletal blossom.

Hi William,

It looks like this is your first submission to Usefilm - if so, welcome!

I like this very unique image, and you've managed to capture a lot of detail in this macro shot. It appears to be some type of flower which has dried up and frozen over, but I'm not entirely sure if this is the case.

Can you tell us a little more about the photo?

Regards,
Laura

Great shot, William! It really is a jewel with that encrustation of ice. Welcome to UF and Happy New year. Cheers, Gary
