already wasn't so colorfull image because of the weather, it has heavy clouds and only little azure cames from the sea, after that I take the choice to desaturate the image (for color version, I have a multi shot, a frame with 8 photos of that bird takes different poses...)

Hi John: I particularly like this photo because, both the bird is balanced even on one leg and you have balanced the bird into the frame as well. I think even the background is a good compliment with the subtle change in texture and the while line. Maybe a little more contrast for me as a B&W image.
