Parehan, there are many great elements in your image that make a good composition! The L shape is pleasing having a balance of rest and dynamics; there is the repeating pattern of the stair logs, as well as the diagonal of the top rail and the diagonal of the rising stairs! The stairway serves as a path to a subject which we are missing here. The light is against you as the subject is a tad underexposed and seems flat. It is also a good idea to have the foreground sharp as the blur gets unwarranted and competing attention from the eye. I hope that this comment is helpful!

I see lines in this composition but something here is disturbing which I couldn't really point out.. maybe its the horizon or the slight tilt towards the right.. graphically its attractive with the space on the top right.
