Excellent angle & composition, Shirley, love the lighting, her facial is beautiful and expresive! Great work my friend!
Harry
PS: have you tried less grain or with out!
Still is beautiful!

Shirley D. Cross   {K:138817} 1/10/2008
Thank you so very much, Harry! I puposely added that much grain, and of course, I have it without. Her complexion is very bad, and this brings out her true beauty without that distraction.

What an effective shot. The expression on her face and your lighting are really great but, for me, the film grain really cements it. Very nice work indeed.

Thank you so very much for your kind comments, Jim!:)

Shirley -- I would never have seen it in my mind's eye but the grain added is perfect for this lovely portrait. No other way around it -- this portrait stunning.
--Best to you in the New Year, Jan

It's nice picture, the grain is adding a pinch of salt to this well seasoned portrait. Cheers, NJ

Personally, I'd cut down on the grain . . . another awesome model, my friend . . . how DO you find them??

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Shirley D. Cross   {K:138817} 1/11/2008
Thank you, dear Doyle, but that much grain is deliberate.:) This lovely young lady was the roommate of a friend of another young friend of mine. I just ask...

Barbara Kite   {K:11804} 1/12/2008

Eb Mueller   {K:22087} 1/13/2008
Nice grain effect, more like fine sand-blast texture. It is particularly lovely where the hair meets skin!
