About There she stood and the mobile didn't want to work anymore, and she had to stop her conversation very abruptly, which seemed to put her in deep disappointment. Just another guy in my favorite street in Lucerne, and much the same troubles like we all have.

Again the light and the scene was inviting for a soft image - it shouldn't have so many details but enough for letting the spectator know that is a human being. Some of us but it could be any other else of us too. I think the light came out well, especially because of the vehicle that is about to come from befind the corner. But I don't know if the softness is too much here, and so I'd be glad for any comments.

That was two years ago, Avi! This year there was no snow - you see the greatest international experiment of all times seems to be more successful than we thought: Warm up the atmosphere and study the results! ;-)

Nick

P.S.: But what about the image itself? Not as good, I assume, ey?

fotogr@vi     {K:52874} 1/15/2008
Yeah.. that's what human beings take pride to call 'progress'.

About the image, well I will be frank - yes, it did not pack as much a punch as some of your other work. Maybe if we could have two well defined figures, or a figure and a dog, we could have achieved.

best,
Avi

Feel always free to be as frank to me as it can get, Avi! I see exactly what you mean here! Indeed, some more well defined protagonist would do good - I am especially curious to see what that would have been with a man and a dog somewhere.

I'll have to try something similar again, despite the fact that the progress went so progressive and the snow less and less in the cities and towns lying lower. And the problem is, there are well suited streets but no snow here, and there is snow but not such real urban streets in the villages uo there on the mounts. Progress makes a photographer's life hard! ;-)

All the best to you too,

Nick
