About Just having more fun with my new camera/lens... really lovin' this shallow DOF and available light photography! Again, taken right from my computer room... Sugar was sound asleep in her donut bed sitting on a chair beside me.

Handheld w/available light, 2/3 cropped, slight sharpening w/PSP XI

Interesting shot, it does look like your new camera is doing well for you, I can almost make out your reflection in the beads. Good test for you depth of field.

This F1.8 lens really does seem to be giving you some great flexibility. It's always fun playing with new stuff, and you certainly seem to be enjoying the possibilities!
