Yes,you are right my dear friend, the cat does not like water, but it was above the rocks on the beach watching what fall from the seagulls mouth from the remnants of fish, to pick up the residues..!!!

you capture this cats natural sense and instinct. It is funny because it is a domestic cat but clearly you see his/her instinctual ancestry in his/her demeanor and pose... his/her stance looks like a wild cats pose--target dead on and ready to go.... should the water not be there... :)

Beautiful image Parehan,lovely pose.The placement on the rocks is perfect,very good colors and exposure.
When shooting in sunny conditions you might try various settings[-,+ ev,.3 to .7]also different f-stop.
That`s so you get to know your camera/lens capability.
I see you are getting to know your new toy.

Fantastic shot Parehan. Great composition. Great detail. It is great watching animals and how smart they are. People think they are dumb but they arnt. I have a Manx cat and it loves water. She will go for a swim and if it rains, loves wandering around in it. She gets excited and shows off. Manx cats were known to swim out to fishing boats to get fish. Warm regards and hugs. Keith
