Hi Doyle, Long time no see. I Love the bottom part of your about. As soon as I read it,(During a rain break in the rediculous Southern California rains) this song started playing in my head.

I think that this fits perfectly into the FRESH project. This has it all. FANTASTIC Colors....beautiful clouds...AWESOME reflections on the water. A real EYE opener. Well done my friend and presented.

Long time, indeed my Friend. Great minds think alike . . . THAT song has come up more than once and I have asked someone to find this guy and slap him for me . . . if alive . . . if not, a quick dance on his grave should soothe me somewhat! :P
It's awesome weather here right now . . . but we've been WARNED about tonight. Snow is dropping to 3,000 feet and we had an honest to goodness avalanche higher up . . . Oh SNAP dude, I'm not even in shorts! it's only 70 degrees here! How much do parkas cost??

A reflection of a new day captured, the glassy water is wonderful, it reveals more details than the view on the horizon, it is a different POV fron the water... great silhouette shot Doyle..

Thanks Todd! You know I agaonized over whether or not to do that easy clone . . . just dodn't know what effect it had (good or bad). In the end I left it in as a natural element of the shot here in So. Cal. Still . . . I remain unsure about whether to leave it in or not. I gather you see it as more distraction than necessary? Obviously it'd be SUPER easy to take out. :)

Doyle,
Such is the beauty of the human race. We don't all see things the same. How boring that would be. You see it as a natural element. I see it as an unnatural blemish. My eye keeps being drawn to it as it sticks out like a sore thumb. I do find it very distracting. I see ugly con trail instead of beautiful sunrise, but that's just me. I tend to dislike any element of human interference in my nature shots. I understand and I can see how others find the mix of nature and man a poignant contrast. After all, we are just as much a part of nature as any other creature. Please take this as my 2 cents. I think it is a gorgeous picture as it stands, or without the con trail.
