Nice studio portrait Mervo!
I like that subtle cross hatching treatment. At first I thought it was the pattern in his jacket, but then I saw it in the background. How was that done?

Hey Andre!

I slightly desaturated this and then applied the film grain filter in CS3 one layer horizontal grain and the other vertical to give me the cross effect. I rather like it myself although I submitted a blimmin' soft jpg and forgot to sharpen it after I reduced the size from 3000px aaggrr!
