Thanks Paul! I think I'm discovering since I started this a month ago that its not the location but it all revolves around the light and that's what makes photgraphy interesting. Thanks Arif. That sunset was a bit unusual and I think the light comes from the fact that the clouds are well in above the sun which had just set and the red and orange colour is it's final glow which reflects off the clouds back onto the sea. I almost didn't take this shot as I usually like to look for pinks and light across a large area of cloud, but I was glad that I did! I got lucky :) Regards

Thanks for the comment! The thing is that it wasn't my camera. I became a member a few minutes ago since I found one of my Australian relatives through Google. This photo is sooo beautiful! Brisbane huh? I'm thinking about going there for studies :)

Hi Tor, yes Bribie Island is only about 30 minutes from Brisbane. Hope you make it over for at least a visit or perhaps some studies sometime. I hope to do the same in Sweden sometime too! Don't forget the equipment is not really important for photo's, even a cheap camera is probably better than an untrained eye (like mine!) so it needn't cost much to have fun with photo's. Of course lots of gear is fun for gear freaks! :)
