About Hi all! It's been a while since I have had the time to journey into the pages of UF...been so busy, and still am...but I needed an upload fix.
The original of this shot was taken to show the bridesmaide's jewellery at a wedding I attended at the start of Feb.
Couldn't resist giving it the ole faithful treatment...there is something in the way she is posing that struck me as interesting here.....

Will try to be more active within the site as time permits...nice to be here again.
cheers, B

I absolutely love it. The expression, the composition, the exposure. It is different, delicate, a pencil sketch, a fashion statement. The eyes treatment is fascinating.
The portrait also provides an unexpected glimpse into the model's mind of a thinking person, not just a pretty, mindless face.

Hey there Aleksander, thanks so much for your great comment.
I am very happy to hear that you see all these things in this image...and as i said, when I first viewed the original capture, there was something strong in her pose that I wanted to accentuate.
Once again, thanks for such a fantastic comment, much appreciated.
cheers, Beks

Good to see you again, Bec. Love this pic. You're so good with this type of image. It's a great classical Hollywood pose. I like how you've accentuated the jewellery and her eye. Please drop in again soon.:)

Wonderful work! I love the way the skin tones are so soft and the jewellery and those amazing eyes are so striking. Good to see you back, I understand fully the difficulty extracting time from a busy schedule to participate more fully in this wonderful site. Don't starve us any longer. CC
