What a great place and view,, very interesting capture with a lot of things to look at,,walking along the see view must be beautiful in this city.
So at the end you did it "panorama".., to avoid a pixilation effect ,, next time save the image with as sRGB file, that is the best for the internet uploads,, not sure may be you are saving ,this way!
Regards
Saeed

The pano worked very well, Linda, you're a quick study! Nicely composed scene and a great perspective of the harbour and hill beyond. I like the splashes of colour from the various buildings, too.
BTW, nice to see you posting again!
Dave.

Thank you Saeed. I am not sure what you mean by "save the image with as sRGB file" I use the Adobe RGB 1998 color space is that what you're referring to? Or do you mean the sRGB IEC61966-2.1. (?) Thanks again :)

ps....are you seeing a pixelation effect? :)

Linda Bique   {K:73886} 2/15/2008
Thank you Dave, very much appreciated!! :)

Dear,Linda
Yes for the colour space,,its better to save the file for the enternet as sRGB and not Adobe RGB as this one mostly used for printing purpose.
its hard to see pixlation on this one,,
next time try to upload the image @ 1200 pix as a panorama scene.
Regards
Saeed

Ok I will remember that dear Saeed, 1200 pixels, and sRGB...it's very kind of you to take the time to help me, and I appreciate it very much...thank you and have a wonderful day! :)

It's very "alive" and swinging - especially the bigger one at the URL you gave us, Linda! The amazing details add so much "reality" here and convey really the character of that place. But more than that I find the coloring/lighting very unusual here. The blues are strong and sunny but also loaded with that kind of "electrifying hues" right before a storm in summer. And since there is no cloud to see but there is haze, some impression of humidity is generated that soon gets converted to a violent game of the elements.

Cheers!

Nick

Thank you again for your very kind and thoughtful comment Nick. I'm glad you like it! I was amazed at this place too, and only disappointed that I couldn't upload a larger image...Much appreciated..Cheers :))

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:92493} 3/17/2008
Well, the maximum uploadable size is indeed a bit too small for me too, Linda. But your full panorama was OK, wasn't it? Perhaps one could use that now and then for uploading a bit of bigger images.

Cheers!

Nick

Linda Bique   {K:73886} 3/18/2008
Well thanks for pointing that out..silly me, I didn't realize it worked, yeah..not bad! Thanks again Nick! :)

Cheers!

Nick
