Wow! beautiful abstract Doyle... Yes!!
good POV and choice of lens...
great shot!
is this inverted..?:)

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99493} 2/21/2008
Thanks Bobot. No, this is not inverted. I just looked straight up. The drop ceiling is not installed and this would be hidden once developed.

Great shot Doyle - is this the fisheye lens you've used ?
I like it :))super perspective !

Regards,
Michele~

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99493} 2/21/2008
Yes, Michele, it is the fisheye (as listed above) . . . and this time without distortion correction. Thanks ever so much for the comment!

Fabrice Gourbilleau   {K:53288} 2/21/2008
I always like the Fisheye effect on shot..and this one represents it. This is a nice composition you did Doyle with a well managed light and great detail. Were you lying on the ground to capture it?
Compliments

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99493} 2/21/2008
Thanks Fabrice. I was standing for this shot but the ceiling is about 6 meters up. :)

Doyle I <~~~~~

Great shot, well photos like that one 'saying' to me, hey, that's the time you must buy a fisheye!!! :-D
Impressive result Doyle!

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99493} 2/21/2008
Thanks John . . . the 10.5mm fisheye not onle has the ability to give this effect but can be distortion corrected as well, making it very versatile!

Great pic Doyle ! Nice forms and perspective!

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99493} 2/21/2008
Thanks Jan. It IS a lot of fun and there seem to be a plethora of different ways in which to play with it! Distortion correction is no problem on a sliding scale so I can gradually decrease the distortion to see the effect.

My best to you and yours as well!
