About Was shooting the eclipse from my backyard. Looked through the trees in my neighbors yard and saw an interesting view.
This is what i came up with.
Shot in Raw, to tiff, resized in Gimp to JPG.
No editing other than a resize.

Absolutely stunning shot, the way the brunches 'frame' the moon in cirqle way is very impressive, and looks fine under the backlight support Mike, excellent... I think you might 'clone' that small spot at the middle top area but not big deal, again your work is fine and worths the excellent rate.

the little dot I think is lens flair due to the adapter i use to get my focal length to 210mm.

It most definately a very intersting sight. Great capture and presentation. Isn't is wonderful to be concentrating on a certain shot and then be surprised by something unexpected?
