Wow, the calm of the water, and the trees come up in this great light. Maybe for me, the blue tone of the hills spoils a little the image.

How I have missed you! I am making a point of visiting as many friends as posible at this ridiculous hour (close to 5:45am), and commenting on at least ONE image until I can next visit.
This truly is a magickal shot, my Dear! Totally awesome! And yes, it is a moody landscape, but it is also peace and tranquility as far as my feelings go.

Thank you, Kiarang. I have looked and looked and the only lack of sharpness I can see is the reflections on the water, caused by slight movement of the water. Otherwise, it is an HDR processed shot, if that is what you are talking about.

I know you use HDR process.
but perhabs using zoom lens with this long focal and 3.5-6.3 appreature is why it's not sharp!

Thank you, Kiarang. Always with the good suggestions. I am not sure why I dropped open to the wide aperture except to say maybe it was just being tired after a long day of shooting and the laziness to not break out a flashlight to watch exposure times in Bulb. I typically try and shoot at 20/22 and had been all day until post-sunset...
Oh well, another lesson learned. Thanks, as usual, I learn something from everyone here.

Now this is NICE!! Very serene... excellent colors and reflection. Love those sticks in the water and the grasses in the foreground... adds a lot of interest.
