Sometimes I am depressed, because it's so hard to shot birds.. I lose my temper while
shoting hundreds of images and nothing succeed, so I felt it's futility..But your support provide me with energy, thank you so much my dearst Robbie..

You can say that again!!
Sometimes I shoot whole day without 1 good image but that`s part of the challenge.
Is this your lens?

If so you might consider upgrading because for Birds you want a better lens.I love my current lens but it has limitations,I shoot at f8 because of softness wide open at the long end but the quality of images even at ISO 400-640 is very good.
Hope your ISO is 320-400 and not shooting wide open.
Keep trying,you will get it!!

This is my sharpening method...
Image/Mode/Lab Color
The 'Layers,Channel, Paths' box will pop up
Click the 'Lightness' box...the image will turn b&w.
Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask
Amout 85%,Radius 1, Threshold 4
OK & Repeat the sharpening again.
The beauty of this is that you don`t get halo from oversharpening.
Give it a try!

Must had been sleeping!!!To continue with the sharpening which I did`t finish!!
Amout 85%,Radius 1, Threshold 4
OK & Repeat the sharpening again
Image/Mode/RGB Color and you are back to your original image.
I normally run it thru Neat Image making sure 'Sharpening' is turn off.
Sorry for the uncomplete tutotial.
