: ) thanks

Did you change the name of this one? I could have sworn it was 4 Men - not that it matters. I do love the way the drakes are looking at the camera and the men are looking away - very amusing!
Regards
Charles

Yes I can't think of a good/proper title... I often experience this problem. In Dutch I'm more creative with words I think. Anyway if you have a suggestion?
Those drakes (< never knew they're called like that) looked at me in the same way as those people did when you were shooting that tree I think..?
glad you like it.
Regards, Nn

I think your name is spot on for your photo. I just thought maybe I imagined the other name :). Your propbably right - I think the drakes are wondering what that crazy person is doing pointing that thing at me.

Hi Jansen,
Thank you for your comment. I didn't know what RAW was, but I've just read a littlebit about it and it sounds really really intressting! Defenitly something I would like to learn in the future. It sounds a bit hard to learn.. was it for you? Thank you for giving this idea anyway.
Regards,
Nina

Jansen  van Staden   {K:66} 3/4/2008
Hi Nina, I only started shooting RAW after a photography course and its just so much better. Yeah it takes a lot more space but you can then utalise the photos full potential without sacrificing the quality. There is no comression of the file, it's a digital negative. But you will have to aquire a program to read the RAW files and convert them after processing them. Photoshop is great, but try Adobe's Lightroom. Easy to use and I find it perfect for the entry level photoghaper like yourself, and me to!! Sterkte!!

Nina Th.   {K:1173} 3/4/2008
Thank you Jansen for your kind explainations! I'll try to achieve it in a couple of months. I'm in a beginners course now, but in the next course I think it must be possible to get some more help&info with this. It's a good goal.
Regards,
Nina

Burim Luta   {K:6152} 3/4/2008
I think that it is a great shot and that it fits perfectly in the project.
Great compo, tones and details.

I must say that you have a very interesting portfolio with great shots where in most of them the natural color dominates and that is what I like and rate very high.

Best regards and keep up the great work
Burim

Nina Th.   {K:1173} 3/4/2008
I really apriciate your comment on this photo as well as on my portfolio, Burim! It's encouraging! I like what you say about those natural colours, I hadn't noticed myself I was drawn to them so much, but it's true! Great observation, good to know.
Regards, Nn
