About Menia, Bany Khaled, Egypt.

though the face is not perfectly lit, and it not the most right timing or place for a portrait... but I loved the man's expression, and I wanted to record it.

This is becoming a habit with you, Aiman ;) (great portraits, that is) I think that the harsh mid day sun works very well for this. You've captured detail in the shadows without blocking the high values. I see a man to whom the years have not been altogether kind, but who remains cheerful, and kind himself. The lines in his face certainly suggest that he's smiled a lot in his life. Thanks for posting this.

Hihi... excellent! Such superb expression! Well okay, lightning could have been better, but it's still a fantastic photo because of the expression you captured so well. This photo makes me smile big! :-))

The face, the turban, the shadow...all funnily intersect somewhere very graphic...

I don't see anything wrong with the lighting. Very colorful, even though it's in b&w. A good photograph makes you see colors when there really isn't. The man's face is incredible.
