I already thought that this car - or better rocket! ;-) - would follow, Andre!
The image is so clear and crispy that it almost has to be no real image at all - it has that clarity of a design paper! There is more than enough detail and still it looks so "smooth" on its surface! I find the classic perspective in greyscale also very appealing for this one. It enhances its character as an extremely well designed and manufactured car rather than some speedy vehicle for making the streets insecure.
Very careful photography, Andre!

Thanks Nick, Before I posted this one, I had a darker version that I liked, that showed off the design of the body almost like a model rather than a real car. I ended up posting this version that shows a different shade of grey towards the front and a little more detail around the wheels. I also removed part of another car from the image, so as not to distract from the beauty of this one. :) Andre

One of my friends was staying in Hackensack, New Jersey. I used to go to his place. There was a Lamborghini showroom close to his house.. we often went past it while we were out for a stroll smoking.. used to drool at the lime-green, tomato-red, sea-blue beauties :) :)

Hi Avi, One of the big problems with visiting showrooms or car shows like this one is that the cars on display make what we drive seem so ordinary :( Andre

Nice presentation of this fine auto, Andre.
I don't suppose they had any parts there for a 1986 Suzuki Samurai......

Removing anything else is the right thing to do here, Andre! It should be the car and only the car for me too!
I guess that chosing this one for its different lighting was also a good thing to do. For me it still has the rather "design-like" appearance, even with all its nice details. And now I also see the good sense of light reflection on the windshield that supports that appearance too.
Any chances to attach the other one?

Thanks a lot for attaching the blue Lambo, Andre! A good capture again. I think that the logo should be completely in the iamge - or perhaps just clone it off. But the car is shown very well!
Waiting in excitement for any other rocket image!
BTW, what I find so exciting about these cars is the dedication in which they are made. Those guys seem to really love what they are doing, which I think is necessary for any kind of good results, no matter what one is doing.

Andre, is it true that such cars are still handmade? I hear of that many times, but I really can't imagine how this can be achieved in such a perfection only by handwork.

Hi Nick, I would say a greater percentage of these cars has "hands on" attention than your average everyday grocery getter. But, as for being hand made. I think very little is actually hand made. Maybe the leather interior is hand crafted? I'm sure the Lamborghini Miuras of 35-40 years ago were more hand assembled that these. Personally I don't think that is such a good thing anyway. You may or may not know this company is now owned by Audi/VW. Here is a site that will answer a lot of your questions about this car. I bet you see a lot of exotic cars in Switzerland. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C02E2D7123CF935A25755C0A9649C8B63&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=all Andre

Thanks a lot, Andre, for all the info and for the link! It was indeed a very well written report and a rich source for information!
I also had my doubts when friends around here were telling me about handmade cars like that. It is simply impossible to achieve the necessary manufacturing precision this way, and especially for such rockets even the smallest deviation can be a catastrophe.
In Switzerland you can see very often such exotic cars on the streets, mainly Ferrari. Most people simply don't know of any other brand for fast cars, and they are also not really interested for the car but rather for "coolness". (National illness of Switzerland! Coolness!! ;-)) They just rent a car for some months in summer for demonstrating how cool they are, and then they drive at a limit 100kmh (about 62mph) on most of the highways of the country. Which is of course the farmer's top feeling for such a rocket. ;-) But this has also its benefits, since they are really completely unskillful drivers here. In some way they remain mentally in their tractors while playing the tough ones! ;-)
Nick
